Awards and certificates consist of a medal for painting presented by Skowhegan School of Art and Design, 1974; Distinguished Teaching of Art Award from College Art Association, 1976; certificates of appointment to Massachusetts Art Commission, 1970-1971; certificate designating him a Fellow for Life of The Cleveland Museum of Art, 1981 and a Fellow of Rhode Island School of Design, 1981.

Diplomas are for the M.A. degree Tworkov earned from Yale University in 1963, and honorary doctorates awarded by Maryland Institute, 1971, and Columbia University, 1972.

Legal documents include citizenship certificate, 1933; divorce papers regarding "Jack Tworkov, Plaintiff vs. Grace Tworkov, Defendant," 1935.

Membership certificates are from the Society of Literature and the Arts, 1975, and American Institute of Arts and Letters, 1981.

The documentary recordings Jack Tworkov: Video Portrait and USA Artists: Tworkov are on videocassette and film reel.
Arrangement note:
A poem by Stanley Kunitz read in memory of Jack Tworkov September 6, 1982, and the memorial tribute Kunitz delivered at the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters in 1985 are filed with Kunitz's correspondence (Series 2).
