Edited film is a travel-lecture film created by Karl E. Stein and documents travel in India presenting how people live, work and play and their homes, schools and handicrafts. Locales visited include Delhi, Kashmir; the Shalimar Gardens; Dal Lake (houseboats); Agra (Taj Mahal, Itmad-ud-daula's tomb, and Khajuraho Temples); Benares (Varanasi); Jaipur (Palace of the Winds); Udaipur (marble palaces); and Bombay. Also filmed is a wedding and a visit to a Maharajah palace.
