This accession consists of images documenting aspects of exhibitions throughout the Smithsonian Institution that were designed by John R. Clendening, Designer, Office
of Exhibits Programs. The majority of exhibitions designed by Clendening during this time period were for the Museum of History and Technology and the National Air and Space
Museum. This accession also includes a small number of images that were likely used as reference materials or as candidates for images to be displayed in the exhibitions.
Materials include slides and negatives.

This accession consists of architectural drawings documenting the exhibit World War I Fighters. This exhibit opened in the Arts and Industries Building in 1972
as one of the first exhibits for the National Air and Space Museum. Many of these materials were created by Louis S. Casey. Materials include architectural drawings, exhibit
layouts, correspondence, floor plans, item lists, schedules, and articles.
