The "HomeSpun: The Smithsonian Indian American Heritage Project" website, crawled June 8, 2012, documents an initiative to create an exhibition chronicling the story of
immigrants from India and their descendants in America. The website includes general information about the program and links to related resources. It also serves as a fund
raising component for the project.
"HomeSpun Blog The Indian American Story," crawled July 28, 2011, chronicles the latest Indian American issues and about happenings at HomeSpun: The Smithsonian Indian
American Heritage Project and at the Asian Pacific American Project. The blog was opened in July 2009.

The website, crawled September 15, 2014, includes announcements, online exhibitions, and information about events and physical exhibitions curated by APAC. Due to technical
issues, much of the "Now: Live from the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center" blog, which is hosted on the website, is not included in this accession.
The "Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program News and Events" blog, crawled on September 16, 2014, announces new initiatives, exhibitions, and events and provides updates
on ongoing programs. The blog has not been updated since December 2013. Due to technical issues, the earliest post included in this accession is dated July 22, 2013.

This accession consists of three websites and four blogs maintained by the Asian Pacific American Center (APAC) as they existed on August 9, 2013.
The main APAC website highlights and promotes Asian Pacific American events, exhibitions, and collections around the Smithsonian Institution. It also provides links to
resources at other institutions.
The "Congressional Gold Medal Experience" website was developed jointly with the National Veterans Network. It is an interactive social learning application and website
that introduces the stories of Japanese American World War II veterans based on six character values - courage, respect, humility, perseverance, compassion, and citizenship.
Visitors and users are encouraged to share their own stories in an effort to promote character based inter-generational storytelling.
The "Smithsonian Filipino American Heritage" website documents Smithsonian Institution events, exhibitions, and educational activities surrounding "A Century of Challenge
and Change: The Filipino American Story," a nationwide commemoration of the centennial of Filipino migration to the United States. It also provides links to resources from
other institutions.
