Correspondence, photographs and negatives, and printed material documenting Werner's professional career as a sculptor. Of note is correspondence relating to Werner's portrait bust of Thomas Wolfe, including letters from Werner requesting photographic portraits of Wolfe and letters from Carl Van Vechten, and Wolfe's editors, Maxwell Perkins and Edward Aswell. The majority of the photographs and negatives are reproductions of sculpture; also included are images of Werner, his wife, Geri Pine, and photographs taken by Carl Van Vechten and Doris Ulman. Printed material consists of catalogs, articles, announcements, and checklists.
