Replies to Overmyer's questionnaire sent to foreign officials and U.S. Consuls abroad in which she asked about government support of the arts in those countries. This material formed the factual basis for the foreign section of her book GOVERNMENT AND THE ARTS (W.W. Norton, 1939).
