Correspondence is with Fred Licht, John Hejduk, Bill Berkson, Jasper Johns, John Hultberg, Rudy Pozzatti; letters from Joyce Carol Oates, Dorothy Dehner, Rudolph Arnheim, Stanley Kunitz, and Nancy Wynne-Jones. Exhibition files include Upton's proposals, checklists, and reviews. Photographs are of Upton, his colleagues, and his studio. Printed material includes press releases and clippings.

Richard Upton (1931- ) is a painter living in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
