Content Description:
Collection consists of typescript transcripts and audio cassettes of oral histories conducted with civil engineers. Interview were conducted by conducted by Linda Dodd, intern in the Division of Engineering and Technology (now the Division of Work & Industry); Richard Altomonte of Pomona Media Arts; Jeffrey Stine, curator, National Museum of American History; and Robert M. Vogel, cuartor, National Museum of American History. Several of the oral histories were transcribed by Cyril R. Mill.
Arrangement:
Collection is arranged into two series.

Series 1: Oral History Transcripts, 1963-1992

Series 2: Oral History Audio Cassettes, 1958-1992

Collection made for the National Museum of American History.

Biographical/Historical note:
This material was solicited from ASCE by Robert M. Vogel of NMAH in 1971-1975. ASCE, through its executive directors, coordinated the collection of the papers from the various authors.
