Among the correspondents are Jean Arp, Frederick Dupee, Jean Helion, Geoffrey Hellman, Karl Knaths, Gaston Lachaise, Dwight Macdonald, Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicholson. [Photos on fr. 893 and 1001 are also filmed on reel 440, fr. 388-391, Photographs of Artists Collection I].

Painter, sculptor, designer and educator; New York, N.Y. Died 1975. Born New York City. Studied at Yale University, Arts Students League, Academie Moderne, Paris, France. Member of the Advisory Committee, Museum of Modern Art, New York.
