Correspondence consists of letters to Lebrun regarding the exhibition, commission, and sales of his artwork, as well as correspondence from friends, colleagues, and family members. There is extensive chronological correspondence between Lebrun and his gallery, Jacques Seligmann and Co., and other correspondents of note include Julian Levi and Barry Robert Schachtman. Diagrams and plans for the mural Genesis can be found in correspondence with Pomona College. Letters of condolences to Lebrun's widow, Constance Lebrun, are filed at the end of the series.
