Ndebele Girls Holding Babies, 1936-1949. Two girls are seated beside each other holding babies on their backs. Behind them is a wall painted with various geometric designs. They are wearing jewelry and blankets wrapped around their bodies and pinned with large safety pins. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1936-1949.
