Biographical/Historical note:
Hector Acebes, a native of New York and a graduate (1947) in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is an industrial film maker with offices in New York, Madrid, and Bogota. He is also an adventurer who has conducted and recorded by motion and still photography expeditions in Africa and Venezuela. His works on these explorations have appeared on television and have been described in several books.
