This accession consists of records created and maintained by Robert W. Smith, Historian of the National Air and Space Museum, Department of Space History. The records document the Space Telescope History Project (STHP), which led to a publication of the same title. Materials include minutes of meetings, schedules, photographs, publicity materials of the manufacturers, background material, newspaper clippings, newsletters, brochures, records transmittal forms, and correspondence.
