Half-length, seated. Wearing feather bonnet, dentalium (?) shell collar, beaded shirt, and medal.
Biographical / Historical:
The medal is an "Indian Chief medal" bearing the portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York (later King George V and Queen Mary), who visited Canada in the autumn of 1901. Similar medals were distributed on the occasion of the great assembly at Calgary, Alberta, September 28, 1901, --V. Clain-Stefanelli, 8/5/63
