This accession consists of records related to the Birr Castle Demesne in Birr, Ireland. The Birr Castle Demesne consists of gardens; a telescope constructed in the 1840s by William Parsons, Third Earl of Rosse; and Ireland's Historic Science Centre. These materials consist of a visitor information brochure; worksheets and a workbook for teaching science to children; a book titled, Impressions of an Irish Countess: The Photography of Mary Countess of Rosse, by David H. Scope and Contents:
Menu honoring Thomas Addis Emmet, M.D. Event held at the Waldorf Astoria on January 8, 1916. Cover illustration: frontal and profile portraits, apparently depicting Thomas Addis and Robert Emmet, surrounded by emblems of his accomplishments, including medals awarded. Inside is a photogravure reproduction of a photograph of Thomas Addis Emmet (with a reproduction of his signature) by Anna Frances Levins, who is listed as the official photographer on the officers' page. The last page contains the text of the song "America." Menu tied with red, white, and blue ribbon. 2 copies, one containing seating chart.
