A scrapbook (56 p.) containing newspaper clippings; a ticket to the exhibition of Roberts' "Hypatia" at Earle's Gallery with notations on daily attendence; and six photographs of Daniel Ridgway Knight, Lewis Ware, Roberts and of a plaster cast of Robert Fulton.
Biographical / Historical:
Howard Roberts (1843-1900) was a sculptor from Philadelphia, Pa.
Provenance:
Lent for microfilming, 1985, by Mrs. H.R. Roberts, wife of a descendant of Roberts.
Restrictions:
The Archives of American art does not own the original papers. Use is limited to the microfilm copy.
