The crest itself is mostly rolling grassy margs [meadows] with a few scattered large trees. A good many "deer ponds" which are fed by the metling snow. The north face of the ridge is covered with dense forests of pine & deodar, the southern slopes with grassy & rocky slopes & thinner forest.
