Translated message reads: "We both wish you a good and happy St Charles day. It may be a little late but we thought so often about it that in the end we let the day pass. Did you at least get your cake, if not you will have to go to get it upon receiving these "pousseke" which are on the back of this card. We also wish you a happy birthday. You must be 20 to 25 years old, I do not quite remember exactly but the heart and character are still quite young. We are aging must faster because of the sun. A million kisses from both of us."
