The interviews of curator George Gurney measure 1.2 linear feet and date from 1978 to 1979. Gurney conducted twenty-one interviews with sculptors and related professionals as part of the research for the exhibition, " Sculpture and the Federal Triangle," held at the National Museum of Art, October 26, 1979 through January 6, 1980. No tapes were made for interviews with Carl Paul Jennewein, Joseph Kiselewski, Bruno Mankowski, and David Kresz Rubins, but questionnaires completed by them exist.
