Artifacts collected by anthropologist Ruth Landes during her fieldwork with the Ojibwa of Manitou Rapids, Ontario in the 1930s. The artifacts pictured are beaded moccasins made of moose-hide and deer-hide, porcupine quill kneebands and armbands, a shawl, and a black and white wampum necklace. The wampum necklack may not be Ojibwa as it also appears in a photograph of Potawatomi objects published in Landes' book, The Prairie Potawatomi.
