Scope and Contents:
This series includes Toshiko Takaezu interview transcripts and recordings, documentaries, television programs, and a few exhibition and event recordings. Events include award ceremonies and workshops led by Toshiko Takaezu. Most of the material is about Toshiko Takaezu, her studio, and her artwork, but a few recordings feature other artists or ceramics in general. This series contains a wide variety of audiovisual formats from videocassettes to sound cassettes, 16mm film reels, U-matic tapes, and born digital recordings.

The material in this series has been broadly arranged into groups according to the following categories: interviews, documentaries, tv broadcasts, event recordings, exhibition recordings, and other recordings.

This accession consists of records created and maintained by Karen Loveland, Director of Special Projects for the Office of Telecommunications, documenting the planning, development, and execution of film, video, and television productions for general release, for accompaniment to exhibitions and exhibition halls, for training, and for television spots.
