Scope and Contents:
Included are 3 VHS videotapes of "Peter Stern Remembers: A Personal History of the Storm King Art Center," consisting of 2 tapes filmed in 1997 and 1998 and an update filmed in 2001. An audio CD and companion booklet with the transcript of a lecture delivered by Stern in 2003. One DVD that features artists Kenneth Snelson, David Smith, Mark di Suvero, Alexander Calder, Richard Serra, Louise Nevelson, and Isamu Noguchi. Also included are three cassette tapes of an interview with Stern conducted in 2005 by his wife, Helen Drutt English.

The audio-visual material consists of 16 mm film reels entitled "From a Lump of Clay" (called "Pond Farm" on the duplicate VHS videocassette), showing Wildenhain at work, and "Scripps College," showing a lecture by Wildenhain. Both films have been transferred onto one VHS videocassette.

The audio-visual series contains casette tapes and video tapes which accompanied the manuscript material. During her trips to the Andes, Zorn documented many local religious festivals on tape recordings.

Scope and Contents:
The audio visual materials are divided into two subseries: Subseries 6.1: Moving Image, 1957 and Subseries 6.2: Audio Discs, 1945-1946. There are two 16 mm films from The United States Steel Hour (television) for Duke Ellington's A Drum is a Woman. The television play was written by Will Lorin and directed by Norman Felton. The play was broadcast on May 8, 1957.

Reference copies for audio discs and moving image do not exist. Use of these materials requires special arrangement with the Archives Center staff. Gloves must be worn when handling unprotected photographs and negatives.

This series contains audio and video recordings documenting Sternberg's career as an artist. Included are audio recordings of Sternberg's interview with art curator Malcolm Warner, and three video interviews of Sternberg conducted by the Felicita Foundation, Tony di Gesu for KUSI-TV in San Diego, and by the television program "Made in America." Also found is a videocassette copy of the film "Many Worlds of Art" directed and produced by Sternberg.
