Fairlane was a 2,150 acre estate in 1914-1916. The Gothic mansion was covered in ivy and consisted of 31,770 square feet of living space. The property had a 20 car garage, laboratory and a variety of gardens such as a peony garden, iris garden, English garden, Burroughs Grotto, blue garden, rock garden, trail gardens and rose garden. Study purposes only. From house to East. Jens Jenson was landscape architect for the estate except he refused to do the Rose Garden.
