Made soon after their first meeting and recorded live on location by Ritchies husband, George Pickow at Gerde's Folk City in New York in 1963. Most released on FA2426 and released on SFW40005/ Box indicates "Jean Ritchie and Doc Watson in the Big City" Final song cuts off, solo by Ritchie (Roll the Stone Away)
