Scope and Contents:
Edited film documents daily life in a village in western China. Film follows the life of the Lee family throughout the day as they prepare meals, work in the fields, go to market and go to school. Included are scenes of Grandfather Lee hiring a scribe to write a letter, of the Lee children in school, and villagers driving animals to market. Also shown are men at work, including a grain grinder and a maker of musical instruments.

Scope and Contents:
Edited film is a travel-lecture film created by Karl E. Stein and documents travel in Morocco presenting how people live, work and play and their homes, schools and industries. Locales visited include Casablanca, Rabat; Safi, the sardine capital of the world; Essaouira, formerly Mogador (marquetry); the walled city of Tiznit; Goulimine's camel market; Tiznit; Marrakesy; Volubilis; Fez (minarets and mosques); and the Sahara Desert . Also filmed are travelling the road across the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh (Djemaa-el-Fna square); the Moussem (a religious festival) at Tan-Tan; handicraft school at Azrou; interior of a Moroccan home; Moulay Idriss, a holy place; and the "Kasbah Road" to Erfoud. Scenes also include military displays, belly dancers and other dancing, a fish factory, pottery making, gathering and carving wood, bookbinding, painting, markets, contemporary and historical architecture, beaches, rural areas, churches, castles, fishing trawlers, and tree-climbing goats.
