In 1915, Successful Farming magazine announced a letter-writing contest asking the public to answer the question, 'Which seed, tree, or plant advertisement in the March issue of Successful Farming contains the best offer and the most valuable information?' This file is comprised of letters written in support of W. Atlee Burpee & Co.'s advertisement.
