Foliage Characteristics:
Simple, alternate, elliptical to ovate leaves have serrate margines. Leaves are 2-4" (5-10.2 cm) long.
Fruit Characteristics:
Fruit resembles a cone with woody scales. Up to 1" (2.5 cm) long.
