We are pleased to be exploring this connection in a new live virtual programming series called “The Art of Science: Conversations with Creatives in Science” featuring a variety of visual artists, writers and photographers with scientific backgrounds in a conversation about how their scientific understanding of the world influences, enhances and guides their art. Panelists for this session include: Dr. Judith Winston scientist and author of Sea Weeds a marine biology mystery, Dr. Nick Pyenson a curator at the National Museum of Natural History and author of Spying on Whales, and Tiffany Duong a science journalist and communicator who uses her stories to enact global change.
