Silent b&w amateur film footage of archaeological excavations and camp life at Starved Rock, an Illinois state park that is the site of former American Indian occupations of the land and La Salle's Fort St. Louis. Excavations were a joint endeavor of the Illinois State Museum and University of Chicago with archaeologist Kenneth Orr. The film was rescued just before it was lost to severe acetate deterioration.
