Dr. Ronald S. Gamble, Jr is an award-winning Afro-Latino Theoretical Astrophysicist, STEM Educator, and Visual Artist. His research uses general relativity to study the material ejected from the centers of galaxies that are millions of light years away, and their connection to supermassive black holes. He currently works as a Visiting Assistant Research Scientist for the Center for Research and Exploration in Space Science & Technology II (CREST II), a joint research program between NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and the University of Maryland—College Park. Dr. Gamble is also an established oil/acrylic painter, graphic designer, and illustrator with 15 years of experience.
