The Community of Gardens story collection grows garden history
Description:
A garden can be anything from a cluster of houseplants on a balcony, to a rose garden tended for a century, or a backyard lawn with a play set and a patio. Whether it’s the story of your own garden, the memory of your grandmother’s vegetable plot, a plant that plays an important role in your life, or a community garden in your neighborhood, we want your garden stories and photos for the Smithsonian's Community of Gardens archive! Smithsonian Gardens is preserving our diverse garden heritage through stories, videos, and images collected from people from all around the country. Anyone can share a story or a set of photos and read the stories on our website.
