Video Title:
Design Talks | Game Changers: Jeff Han
Description:
Jeff Han in conversation with Bill Buxton, pioneering scientist of human-computer interaction and Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research. One of the main developers of “multi-touch sensing” for computer displays, National Design Award winner Jeff Han’s interactive technologies have changed the way we think about computers and their place in the modern world. Following his blockbuster TED talk in 2006, which introduced computer displays controlled by the touch of fingertips, Han founded Perceptive Pixel. The company provided the interactive election maps used by CNN and others in 2008. Since 2012, when Perceptive Pixel was acquired by Microsoft, Han has served as the General Manager of Surface Hub, the latest generation of interactive displays targeting enterprise scenarios.
