Early Animation of the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT)
Description:
This animation was created in 2009 as part of the Annenberg project of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Science Media Group. Part of the Mind, Brain, and Education series (Neuroscience and the Classroom: Making Connections), the video is narrated by Anna Lewicke and shows how the future telescope would look in its finished state.
