On October 9th teacher from across the country launched medium altitude balloons in a coordinated launch. One of these balloons is still going, two weeks later and has already completed one lap around the globe. In this live chat (recorded October 22) teacher Trevor MacDuff, students Audrey and Jack, and KMBC9 Meteorologist Neville Miller discuss this balloon launch, give an update on the current path of the balloon, what students can learn from a launch like this as well as how teachers can get involved in similar programs.
