Video Title:
Pseudosphinx tetrio Caterpillars
Description:
Even though we are marine biologist sometimes we get videos of some cool terrestrial wildlife! Here are some caterpillars of the Pseudosphinx tetrio moths. They eat Plumaria (frangipani) leaves. One large caterpillar can devour three leaves per day and a clutch of caterpillars can defoliate small trees in just a few days! Video by: Rachel Collin
