Real Estate Agent With Big Heart Tries to Find Homes for D.C. Residents
Description:
Real estate agent Thomas Henry has seen the housing market in D.C. skyrocket in price in the last decade. But he is determined to find 2 of the city’s more vulnerable residents find homes of their own. Thomas participated in a 4-part storytelling workshop organized by ACM in summer 2022 and then performed on stage at Busboys and Poets in Anacostia. Community members were invited to learn the art of storytelling so that these powerful stories can be used to create a more equitable society. The theme this year was "Housing in the District" as part of our year long focus on housing equity and justice in DC.
