Video Title:
A Tribute to Bill Moggridge
Description:
Join us for an evening in celebration of the life and work of Bill Moggridge, design pioneer and director of the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Bill designed the first laptop computer, co-founded the renowned innovation and design firm, IDEO, integrated human factors into the design of computer software and hardware, and championed the integral role of design in everyday life. Through his work and his playful personality, Bill touched many lives and had a lasting impact on design. This evening, planned in the style of the design talks Bill launched at Cooper-Hewitt, features Bill Buxton, David Kelley, Ellen Lupton, and Bruce Nussbaum, in conversation with Helen Walters. This tribute to Bill and his extraordinary legacy is free and open to the public.
