In 2010, the Smithsonian National Museum of American History hosted a three-day Mexican Revolution Centennial Symposium. In this video, Brent Glass (then-museum director) opens the event by introducing keynote speaker Mary Kay Vaughan of the University of Maryland. Her presentation was entitled "The Mexican Revolution and the United States: Fury, Romance, and National Identities". The public program was produced by NMAH's Program in Latino History and Culture.
