The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian will be installing the National Native American Veterans Memorial on its grounds in Washington, D. C. in 2020. In 2017, the museum sent out a request for the memorial design proposals and selected five finalists. "Meet Your Designers" gave the public the opportunity to hear memorial proposals from each designer and ask questions. In this segment, NMAI Director Kevin Gover (Pawnee), provides some opening remarks and introduces the competition manager, Donald J. Stastny, FAIA, FAICP, FCIP, who will be moderating the program. This program was webcast and recorded in the Rasmuson Theater of the National Museum of the American Indian on February 7, 2018.
