"I'm an artist that paints with paper." - Mark Bradford In "Pickett's Charge," Bradford worked with a combination of colored paper and reproductions of historic imagery to create a series of eight powerful abstract paintings. Each painting has between 5-10 layers, that he then cuts, tears, scrapes, and even burns to get his final surface.
