Summary:
The South African village of Hamburg is home to many HIV and AIDS patients, most of whom are young orphans whose parents have fallen victim to the disease. Keiskamma follows the struggle of the village women to save the children, concentrating on two individuals in particular: the Aids activist, Eunice Mangwane, and artist-doctor Carol Hofmeyer-Baker.
