The Cooper Hewitt Museum Library copy has "Branch of the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. of New York" added in ink stamp on the cover and on several of the pages. The Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co., assumed to be a former owner of this copy, was formed through a merger in 1884 (which also seems to fit the approximate date of this catalog). The cataloger was unable to determine whether Sandford, Bell & Lahm was a subsidiary of the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. DSI
