Hans Witte's book, A closer look: local styles in the Yoruba art collection of the Afrika Museum, Berg en Dal, with corresponding exhibition, describes nineteen local Yoruba art styles and their meanings. This article summarizes eleven of them and shows at least one photograph of an artwork from each of these eleven styles.
