This should be compared w. Encyc. Brit., ed. 6, v. 6, 1823, as cited by Kennard & Woodward, 1926 : 370, 377. Note discrepancy in the terminal pagination. The latter authors write, 'possibly begun by Leach and finished by [Capt. Thomas] Brown.' Might not Leach have written this earlier article as well?"
