Ratdolt's edition differs from the edition of the preceding year (by Georgius Walch) in that Ratdolt supplied many woodcuts for which spaces were left by Walch. Also, the account of the death of Charles the Bold (1477) is laudatory of Charles, and it is followed by 8 pages of new material. This edition ends with an account of the siege of the city of Rhodes by the Turks in 1480.
Leaves printed on both sides; 49-58 lines per page.
Unsigned gatherings.
Leaf [1] (1st group) is blank; wanting in Dibner Library copy.
