Historian David McCullough features various British connections important to the Smithsonian. One segment is a revealing interview with British biologist Miriam Rothschild, who has become recognized as a renowned entomologist. Another segment is about Alnwick Castle, the home of the Dukes of Northumberland and the literature, art and souvenirs of a 700 year old past. The final segment describes the treasures of the Smithsonian which were brought to the Edinburgh International Festival.
