"The National Tercentenary Exhibit has been arranged under the sponsorship of the American Jewish Tercentenary Committee and the Jewish Museum of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. It opened at the Jewish Museum on Dec. 1, 1954, during the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Jewish settlement in the United States. It will be placed on display, in May 1955, at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C."
