"'Teresita Fernández: Elemental' brings to life the myriad experiential and luminous works of Teresita Fernández's more than twenty-year career. Images of her visually alluring, monumental sculptures and installations reveal how one of the United States' most compelling contemporary artists investigates the intersection of culture and landscape. Teresita Fernández's dazzling large-scale sculptures and installations employ diverse materials-charcoal, ceramics, chrome, steel, onyx, wood, resin, and enamel-with an utterly immersive effect.
