Summary:
On the west lawn of the National Air and Space Museum, Carlos A. Perez, President of Venezuela, dedicates Alejandro Otero's "Delta Solar" sculpture, his country's Bicentennial of the American Revolution gift to the United States. The sculpture is made up of stainless steel "sails" that turn in the breeze and are mounted in an open geometric grid within the 27- by 40-foot delta-shaped piece.
