This print is reproduced in USNM Bulletin 80, Plate 18, following page 114. * There are many other photographs of the NMNH in this location, as well as throughout RU79, Box 9.
Summary:
Looking into the screen wall enclosure used for the paintings of the National Gallery of Art, now the National Museum of American Art, in the Natural History Building, Central Hall, North Wing, first floor. There is a statue of George Washington is on left, paintings are hung on interior walls, and there is a plaque reading "The National Gallery of Art" above the door.
